Percolating in the Lab...

In my (rare) spare time, I like to work on projects for which I feel a deep connection or passion. These projects are "lab experiments" that have helped grow me in my design and development skills and I believe have real-world use. They're all "in-progress" web applications and as they enter beta testing I'll post official announcements on my blog.

Code Name: Binder / Stage: Database Design / A checkpoint and meeting place for church-based groups.
Code Name: Crimson / Stage: Database Design & Site Layout / A globally networked Bible study centered around the words of Christ.
Code Name: 200 Monkeys / Stage: Database Design & Site Layout / A social collaboration tool for storywriters.
Code Name: Yellow Dog / Stage: Site Layout / A sermon themes resource for churches.

Brian Cole

I'm Brian Cole, the guy behind 921Creative. With over 16 years of professional graphic and web design experience centered in the Phoenix area, I've evolved with the industry as it has moved from print to web, from the internet as a passive tool to the dynamic interactivity and social playground of Web 2.0.

I offer more than just a knowledge of popular graphic software applications. I'm a hugely creative thinker, and I get excited when faced with how best to market a client or organization through uniquely clever designs, taglines, and captivating text. I believe a professional identity is critical to the success of a company. I believe it takes the right combination of design skill and an inherent understanding of an organization's driving force to pull that off. I use the right side of my brain at least 18 hours a day and I'm fueled by Cherry Coke!

Bottom line...I'm passionate about what I do and I love to help organizations stand out amid the chaos and frenzy of the new media landscape.
